Obituary

On, March 4, 2023, LaNoma (Taylor) McBrine, formerly of Medford, Massachusetts, died with hospice care at the Maple Leaf Nursing Home in Manchester New Hampshire after a long battle with Alzheimer's.  She was 83 years old.

LaNoma is survived by her children; Patricia Caso of Willow Springs NC, Charles McBrine and his former wife Catherine of Medford MA, Steven McBrine and his wife Lisa of Milford NH, Christine McBrine of Derry NH, Linda Proctor and her husband Ronald of Clayton NC and Michael McBrine and his wife Kim of Windham NH; her grandchildren Charles Robert McBrine and his partner Dan, Ashley Curtis and her husband Chad, Thomas Caso and his partner April, Shannen Proctor, Morgan Proctor, Riley McBrine, Brooke McBrine, and Daniel McBrine; her great-grandchildren, Arya, Amealia, Alyssa and Ava Caso; and her sister Kathleen Taylor of Lakeville OH. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years Charles McBrine, parents Elma and Eugene Taylor, sisters Wilma Anderson and Norma Cunningham.

LaNoma grew up in a small town in Ohio and upon graduation she waited a year for her sister Wilma to also graduate high school so they could join the Air Force together. Stationed in California she met a handsome Airman First Class whom she would marry on October 15, 1960.  Honorably discharged on December 2, 1960 as an Airmen Second Class the newlyweds later settled in her husband's home state of Massachusetts where they went on to raise their six children.  In addition to being an avid reader, LaNoma loved to paint with oils and was a huge fan of Bob Ross' art instruction show.

No funeral or memorial service is immediately planned.  LaNoma will be laid to rest in Ohio at a future date.  In remembrance the family asks that you consider a donation to the Alzheimer Association.
