Lalita K. Mistry

Lalita K. Mistry, 78, of Bedford, MA, passed away on Saturday, August 22,2026, at the Bear Mountain of Sudbury. She was born on November 28, 1947, in Supa, Gujarat, India, to the late Lallubhai and Ambaben Kanji.

Lalita met her husband, Karsan, through family back home in India, and the two were married in 1965. Together, they began their family and worked diligently to foster a strong familial dynamic across India and the United States. While Karsan moved to the United States in 1972, Lalita joined a year later with her oldest son.

Our mom leaves behind a legacy of warmth and charity. She was always thinking of others, willing to give openly to those she loved, and cherished time spent with those closest to her. Despite her condition, she was known for her hospitality and openly welcomed everyone into her home. We will miss the twinkle in her eye and her loving smile.

Lalita leaves behind her sons, Raj and his wife Reena of Clifton Park, NY; and Dipak and his wife Amee of Bedford, MA; grandchildren, Rohan, Riya, Aarav, and Divya; in addition to several members of the extended family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Karsan L. Mistry, as well as her beloved sisters, Kashiben Lad and Dhaniben Mistry.

A small, family ceremony will be held at Carrier Family Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, at 10:30 AM.
