Kathleen Kinneen

Kathleen (Albach) Kinneen, 71, of Pelham, NH, passed away unexpectedly on July 3, 2026. Born on August 6, 1954, in Methuen, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Frederick and Janet Albach. She grew up in Methuen alongside her siblings, Bob, Donna, Larry, and Laurie.

From a young age, Kathy's intelligence and drive were unmistakable. She excelled in school and loved getting lost in books. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in just three years, and went on to pursue both a Master’s degree in Social Work and an MBA while working full-time.

A devoted caregiver, she built her career in social work at Lawrence General Hospital, where the combination of service, leadership responsibilities, and direct patient counseling was a perfect fit. Her work made a lasting impact on her patients, colleagues, and community.

Kathy was a strong, determined, and deeply talented woman who naturally took on a leadership role in every part of her life. She was known for getting things done, for being someone others could rely on, and for advocating fiercely for the people she loved. She will be remembered for her strength, resilience, and unwavering presence.

Kathy deeply loved her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband Terry, to whom she was married to for 47 years. They shared a lifelong love and complemented each other through their different personalities. Together they had three children Erin, Colleen, and Teddy. She was a constant presence in her children’s lives, never missing a sports game, always helping with schoolwork, and consistently putting their family first. This continued as her children started families, where she took great pride in being a grandmother.

Outside of family, Kathy found joy in life’s everyday moments, especially in retirement. She loved reading, gardening, sewing, traveling, going on cruises, and spending time with close friends.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Kinneen; her children, Erin; Colleen and her husband Austin; and Teddy and his wife Meghan; her grandchildren Parker, Graham, Kayleigh, Ashlyn, and Bradie; and her sister, Laurie Pricer.

She is predeceased by her parents, Frederick and Janet Albach, and her siblings Bob, Donna, and Larry.
