Katherine A. (Spirdione) Dostie, 82 of Methuen, MA, passed away July 10, 2024 peacefully at Nevins Nursing Home, Methuen, MA.

Katherine was born in Lawrence, MA where she grew up and was educated and graduated from Lawrence High School. She was a resident of Methuen for the past 60 years.

Katherine was a retired inspector for Parlex in Methuen, MA. She was a member of St. Lucy's Parish in Methuen, MA. She enjoyed playing 45's and trips to Foxwoods where she'd get "lost" in a casino for hours on end.

"MAAA!" was a quiet and gentle person who had love for sarcasm and could always laugh at herself. She had immense love for her family, in particular, her Grandchildren, who returned her love tenfold.

She lived to take care of everyone around her. Always putting the needs of others before her own. Anyone she welcomed into her home was immediately considered family.

We will always cherish Sunday dinners, where the grandchildren always got the preferred seating. Her mashed potatoes will go unrivaled.

She instilled in us a sense of love and family that we will never forget.

She was an angel on earth and her loss will be felt forever.

Katherine was predeceased by her husband Cam Dostie.

She is survived by her children: James Dostie of Methuen, MA, John and his wife Sharon Dostie of Pelham, NH, and Bethann and her husband Dan Donahue of Methuen, MA.

Siblings: Al Spirdione of Salem, NH, Theresa Hartnett of Salem, NH, and William Spirdione of Londonderry, NH

Grandchildren: Jonathan, Steven, Cody, Stephanie, and Cameron, Several Nieces and Nephews.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Monday, July 15th from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a funeral service at 10:30 AM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery, Methuen, MA.
