Karen Ann Leonard, of Chases Grove, Derry, NH passed away on October 28, 2024. She was born on January 25, 1956, in Lawrence, MA to Angela and Robert LaValley.

Karen attended school in Lawrence, MA and graduated from St. Mary's in 1973. Karen worked many office jobs throughout her career, and worked for Spruce Environmental (Warde Hill, MA) for 25 years. Karen married her dear husband Stephen Leonard on November 2, 1990, and adopted a daughter Katherine Leonard on December 6, 1995. Karen loved spending time with her family in Chases Grove on Big Island Pond for her entire life. She especially enjoyed spending time on her pontoon boat during the summers on the lake.

Karen is survived by her husband Stephen and her daughter Katherine, her brother Robert (Haverhill, MA), sister Rose (Derry, NH), and many nieces and nephews. Karen was predeceased by her parents Robert and Angela, and her sister Brenda. Karen was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

There will be no calling hours, and the burial will be private for family.
