Obituary

Kalaiarasu Mani (Kalai), 47, of Lexington, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, February 3, 2024 , in Newton, MA.

After obtaining his engineering degree in India, he worked in tech sector for a few years there and migrated to United States in 2006.

In US, he continued to work as technologist for financial companies in Boston. His work ethic and dedication were admired by his colleagues at his workplaces. Known for his calm and composed nature, Kalai had cultivated friendship that brought him several life long friends who stayed connected with him till the end.

Apart from his professional career, he is a devoted family man who had spent his spare time with his family and friends. He loved attending social gatherings , especially birthdays, Indian festivals and other events. He was a member of non-profit organizations and supported his family's volunteering efforts and cultural activities.

His ever smiling nature touched everyone he had met and his truthful eyes stuck in everyone's mind. Most of them are remembering him as a great human and a gentle soul where his loss had left a void in many of their lives.

He is survived by his wife Karthigai Priya Govindarajan, two sons Jayavardhan Kalaiarasu and Guhaan Kalaiarasu. His parents and his three siblings, live in India, are still recovering from this shocking news.
