Joseph "Joe" Freitas III, 62, of Hudson, NH, passed away on Thursday morning, April 27th, 2023, at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, NH with his loved ones by his side.

Joe was born on March 23, 1961 to Carol (Boisvert) and Joseph Freitas Jr. He was raised in Billerica and attended local schools. Joe was the oldest of three children and enjoyed a happy childhood, developing an interest in cars, eventually turning it into his career.

The shining pinnacle of Joe's life can be seen in his two daughters, Aryana Thompson and Shaylyn Bourbeau. Joe was happiest when he was spending time with his girls, whether it was camping on the weekends, cheering from the sidelines of a softball field, or supporting them through their lives. He was always focused on his girls.

This love only grew stronger as his girls grew up and he got to walk them both down the aisle on their wedding days. He glowed as he watched them start families of their own, and became a "grandpa" to four beautiful grandchildren. He spoiled them with Sunday morning breakfast and never missed a chance to spend time with them.

Joe is survived by his daughters and grandchildren; Aryana (Ethan) Thompson of Pelham and their children Avah and Davina, Shaylyn (Bryanna) Bourbeau of Litchfield and their children Sutton and Korah; his mother, Carol (Paul) Gurski of Hudson; his sisters, Sharon (Lucien) Soucy of Mont Vernon, Stacy (Christopher) Freitas-Ducharme of Hudson; his step-sister, Karen (Phil) Couturier; his grandmother, Hannah Boisvert; his aunt, Susan (John) Hamilton; his uncle, Richard Freitas; as well as nieces and nephews, Garrett, Amanda, Marissa, Chelsie, Chiara, and Sabrina.

He was predeceased by his father, Joseph Freitas Jr.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, May 1st from 3pm to 7pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday morning, at 11am at the funeral home.
