John William Matsco, 62, of Windham, NH passed away on September 13th, 2023, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA.

He was born on September 14th, 1960, to Virginia (Krepp) and William R. Matsco. John was raised in Flint, Michigan and attended local schools. Following graduation, he went on to serve in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany. It was there that he became a Radiology Technician and met some of his lifelong friends. Upon returning to the U.S, John lived in California before eventually moving to North Carolina, where he met Maria Scardera. The two were married in 1992 and settled in New Hampshire two years later to raise their family.

John spent his career as an MRI Technician, working at various hospitals throughout the area.

He shared his love of music and sports with both of his daughters, and despite his daughters growing up loyal New England fans he remained a dedicated Michigan sports enthusiast. This, as well as his sense of humor,  knowledge of fun facts and cooking will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

John is survived by his loving wife, Maria Matsco; his daughters, Emily and Anna Matsco; his siblings, Kathy, Jeannette, Susan, Joanie, Theresa, Andrea, Jim, and Joe; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sisters, Lucille and Mary.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, September 18th from 4pm to 5:30pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 5:30pm at the funeral home.
