John D. Farragher (79) of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on December, 19, 2022.

John was born to Gus and Margaret Farragher on September 18, 1943, in Andover, MA. He graduated from St, John's Prep and Umass Amherst with a degree in English. John enjoyed spending his free time with friends and family as well as cruising in his convertible on warm days.

John is survived by his loving wife of fifty-six years, Barbara, son Colin and wife Liz of Methuen and son Kevin and wife Lisa of Groveland. John was fondly known as Gramps and will be missed dearly by his four granchildren, Colin, Kaitlin, Keara and Ryan as well as his two step grandchildren, Kaley and Adam.

John held many titles in his life but, his favorite by far, was his role of father and grandfather. He was always so supportive of his grandchildren when they needed him,
whether it was helping them to prepare for a job interview or cheering them on at a sporting event. His involvement in their lives and his unconditional support and encouragement will be greatly missed.

Private services will be held.
