Obituary

John Michael Denyou III, 41, of Hooksett, NH, passed away on Friday afternoon, February 28th, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family. He had been battling a rare and aggressive form of cancer since his diagnosis in August 2024.

He was born on September 7, 1983, to Donna (Elliott) and John M. Denyou Jr. John was raised in Raymond, New Hampshire and graduated from Raymond High School. He went on to serve in the United States Air Force, training as an Air Traffic Controller before being honorably discharged.

After the military, John accepted a position as an Air Traffic Controller in Burlington, Vermont. It was in Vermont, that he met the love of his life, Andrea Domenico. The two were married on November 10th, 2012 and moved back to New Hampshire in 2015. He continued his career as an Air Traffic Controller- Supervisor at Boston Approach in Merrimack and then at Boston Center in Nashua.

He was a proud dad of his three boys and loved being involved in their sports. In recent years, he had coached Hooksett youth basketball while serving on the board for HYAA Basketball. Also, he coached baseball teams for North Manchester Hooksett Little League. John was especially grateful to have had the opportunity to coach the spring 2024 Minors A baseball team. He was dedicated to and proud of the kids and coaches that had an undefeated season and became the NMHLL Minors A Champions.

John loved playing basketball and golf, listening to country music, and going for Dunkin runs with his boys in his truck. Whether rain or shine, he loved playing outside with Mike, Ben, and Theo and you could always find them around the basketball hoop.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Andrea Domenico; his sons, Michael, Benjamin, and Theodore Denyou; his parents, John M. Denyou Jr. and Donna Denyou; his brother, David Denyou; his niece, Ada Denyou; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, and family members from his wife's side.
