Mrs. Joan M. (Boutin) Thibodeau, of Windham, NH passed at the age of 88.  She is predeceased by her husband of more than 60 years, Robert P. Thibodeau.  She is survived by her four children, Daniel R. of Manchester, James P. of Deerfield, Patricia T. of Lowell, MA and Linda M. of Sarasota, FL. Three grandchildren Brian M. and Derek A. Thorndike, Teagan Dow and many great-grandchildren.  She passed peacefully on Sept 27, 2024, of natural causes.  The daughter of the late Roland and Mary (Tolin) Boutin.  Joan was born in Dorchester, MA and grew up in Somerville, MA.

She raised her children in Windham, NH working in the Dental field before retirement, becoming snowbirds and spending the winters in sunny Sarasota, FL and summers at their cottage on Cobbett's Pond in Windham, NH. The wee hours were always her favorite place especially in the Autumn.  Joan and Bob could be found on their front porch each in their own rocking chairs enjoying the birds and talking to their neighbors passing by.  She was especially fond of her time with family during the Holidays and they were some of the happiest memories of us all.  Special thanks to the folks in Hanover Hill Nursing Home in Manchester, NH for their compassion and care over the years.  The unwavering support and friendship of the staff was truly wonderful.
