Joan A. (Carusone) Linnehan, 80, wife of the late James A. Linnehan, passed away on Thursday morning, April, 6th, 2023 at Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH with her loving family by her side.

Joan was born November 29, 1942 in Revere, MA. She was the daughter of Irma (Costantino) and George Carusone Sr.

Joan grew up in Tewksbury and graduated from Tewksbury Memorial High School Class of 1960. She went on to attend the Lowell Academy of Hairdressing and worked as a Hairstylist for many years at George's Salon in Lowell, MA until she married her husband, Jim. She later worked in retail sales until her retirement.

Joan spent most of her life in Tewksbury with her family before moving to Windham in 2003. Joan and Jim were married for 45 years until his death in 2012.

She was loved by so many especially her grandchildren who she always supported in their various activities such as; cheerleading, soccer, softball hockey and so much more. Joan loved cooking and baking, making sure there was plenty for everyone. She looked forward to ladies lunch with her friends from Whispering Winds who all meant so much to her. She enjoyed going to the casinos especially her monthly trip with her daughters to Encore. In November we celebrated her 80th Birthday. She was elated that so many came out to celebrate her, a day we will cherish in our hearts forever.

Joan leaves behind her children, Shawn Linnehan and his wife Kira DeGregorio, and their children, Tyler, Orion, and Zane Linnehan of Stuart, FL; Kevin Linnehan, his daughter, Sabrina Linnehan and her mother, Katherine Kapala of Nashua, NH; Brian Linnehan and his wife Shannon Linnehan, and their daughter, Eilish Linnehan of Uxbridge, MA; her twin daughters, Kara (Linnehan) Jackson and her husband Kevin, of Chelmsford, MA and their daughter, Kourtney Jackson and her fiance Collin Amadon, of Ashburnham, MA; and Kelly (Linnehan) Broadbent and her husband Keith Broadbent, and their children Victoria and Alexander Broadbent, of Dracut, MA; her sister, Carol Coudert and her husband Ernest of Arizona; her brother, George Carusone Jr. of Windham, NH; her sister-in-law Samantha Bouchard of Derry, NH; her sister-in-law, Mary Fleming of NC; as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, James A. Linnehan. She was also predeceased by her sister, Diane and her husband Louis Mazzochia.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 11th from 4pm to 8pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday morning at 10am, April 12th at St. William's Church, 1351 Main Street, Tewksbury, MA 01876. A private burial will be held at a later date.
