Jeffrey D Sawyer, 67, of Manchester, NH, passed away on Friday, June 28, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury, MA. He was born on May 21, 1957, in Goffstown, NH, to the late David and Marion (Allard) Sawyer.

Jeffrey was a proud veteran who bravely served his country in the United States Air Force. He was also a gifted trumpet player and pursued his musical talents at the Berklee College of Music and the University of Maine. After graduation, Jeffrey began a long and successful career working in Human Resources at various companies including Associated Grocers of New England where he retired.

Music remained a passion of Jeffrey's. He was a member of the Windham Community Swing Band, the Compaq Big Band, and the band director for the Bedford Big Band. In his free time, Jeff enjoyed spending time with his family and playing trumpet duets with his son, Jeffrey Paul Sawyer. Jeffrey was well loved by all who knew him and will be remembered as a kind and generous person, who always put others before himself.

Jeffrey is survived by his beloved daughter, Crystal and her husband Anthony Imperato of Texas; his grandson, Stelvio Jeffrey Imperato; and his former spouse and dear friend, Denise (LaFrance) Sawyer.

In addition to his parents, Jeffrey was predeceased by his son, Jeffrey Paul Sawyer; and his sister, Susan Piper.

Calling hours will take place on Saturday, July 20, 2024, from 10am to 12pm, followed by a Memorial Service at 12pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087.
