Jean Moreno

Jean (Walsh) Moreno, 66, of Salem, NH, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital. She was born on March 22, 1960, to the late Edward and Elsie (Libby) Walsh in Boston, MA.

Jean was raised in Malden and attended local schools. In her free time, she enjoyed to go shopping. Jean was a hardworking, caring person, who always had a smile on her face, regardless of life’s challenges and obstacles. She will always be remembered as someone who would give the shirt off her back. Above anything else, she loved her daughter, Josie, dearly and cherished being her mother.

She is survived by her loving husband of 18 years, Jose Moreno; her daughter Josie Moreno; her sisters Betty, Elaine, and Dottie; and several nieces and nephews.

Jean is predeceased by her brother Eddy.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, July 10th, beginning at 10am, at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH. Family and friends are invited to gather at the church at 9:30am for a period of visitation.
