Jean Mumaw Ennis, 83, previously of Amherst, NH, passed away on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 after a prolonged battle with Alzheimer's Disease, at the Bedford Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center.

Jean was born on August 10, 1941, to Pauline (Stroud) and James Mumaw.  She was raised in Syracuse, NY and attended local schools before moving with her husband while he was serving in the United States Airforce.  They settled and raised their family in Amherst, NH where Jean was a good wife, mom, grandmother and cook. She also spent several years volunteering with special needs children at the YWCA of Manchester aquatics program.

Jean is survived by her husband of 64 year, Keith Ennis and their children, Kevin Ennis and his wife Linda and their children Emily and James, Laura Brannigan and her husband, James and their son, Thomas. She is also survived by her nieces, Christine Weitzel and Torrey Card

In addition to her parents, Jean was predeceased by her sister, Joan Waggner.

A memorial service will be scheduled in the future.
