Janice T. Blattenberger, 78, of Windham, NH, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday, October 27, 2024, and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. She was born on October 12, 1946, to the late Frederick Lachance and Doris (Belanger) Hughes, in Lowell, MA.

Janice was the matriarch of her family and loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren fiercely. As a retired nurse, she had a kind and caring heart and enjoyed helping her community. She was a devoted churchgoer and inspired others with her love of God.

Janice was a lifelong avid reader who explored all genres of literature. She enjoyed going for walks with her friends and bonding at their monthly "breakfast club". Janice enjoyed camping with family and would tell stories of their adventures, often to Point Sebago in Casco, Maine, Salisbury, MA, and Cold Springs in Weare, NH. Janice was an expert and thoughtful gift giver and knew what you needed before you even did. She treasured the time spent with her nurse friends, reminiscing about the past and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren who loved her dearly.

Janice is survived by her husband: Gilbert "Gil" Blattenberger; their children: Lisa Ouellette, and her boyfriend Ray, of Nashua, NH, and Marc Blattenberger and his wife Natalie, of Nashua, NH; her brother: Frederick Lachance, his wife Laurel, and their son Ryan of Nashua, NH; her grandchildren: Brandon and Danielle Ouellette, and Kody Blattenberger; her great-grandchildren: Ava and Lyla; her nieces and nephews; and of course, her beloved dog, Belle.

In addition to her parents, Janice is predeceased by her brother: David Lachance.
