Janet E. Newcombe, 81, of Windham, NH, passed away on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at Massachusetts General Hospital with her family by her side. She was born on December 13, 1944, to the late Joseph Caron and Rita (Desruisseaux), in Lawrence, MA.

Janet will always be remembered as a caring and loving mother, and grandmother. Her family will never forget the moments that they shared together. In her free time, Janet could be found eating Tripoli's Beach Pizza, staring out at the ocean on Salisbury Beach. She also enjoyed playing Merrimack Valley's famous 45's and reading her favorite novels. When you had a conversation with Janet, she made you feel like the most important person in the world, during that time. Continuing her care for others, Janet was a nurse for over 40 years at Holy Family Hospital and GLEC, where she took care of handicap and disabled children

Janet is survived by her loving husband of many years: Barry Newcombe, of Windham, NH; their children: Kyle Newcombe, and his wife Alina, of Derry, NH, Barry Newcombe, and his wife Numa, of Windham, NH, Todd Newcombe, and his wife Dina, of Hudson, NH, Patrick Newcombe, of Windham, NH, and Chad Newcombe, of Windham, NH; her sisters: Lynne Lacroix, and Kathleen Jenkins; as well as her grandchildren: Alex, Christian, Kyle, Sam, Charlyse, Xavier, Brody, and Levi.

Janet is predeceased by her brothers: Joey "Mike" Caron, and William Caron.
