Jane A. Charity, 67, of Windham, NH, passed away on Monday, October 9, 2023, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born on March 25, 1956, to the late Glennroy and Evelyn (MacDonald) Taylor, in Somerville, MA.

Jane was a kind, loving, faith-filled, beautiful person inside and out. She adored her family, especially her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy.  Jane had many joys in life, including camping with family and friends, spending time at the beach, singing karaoke, sewing, drawing, shopping and reading. Jane loved to entertain and enjoyed having her family over for the holidays, the yearly 4th of July cookout, warm summer days by the pool, making her famous frosted chewys, and of course Sunday afternoon get togethers. Jane was a dedicated worker and was employed as an Engineer at Raytheon for 34 years until her retirement.

Jane is survived by her children: Jennifer Johnson, and her husband James, of Pelham, NH, Stanley Sawlan, and his wife Colleen, of Litchfield, NH; her stepdaughters: Stacey O'Brien, and her husband John, of Tyngsborough, MA, Jennifer Batey, and her wife Danielle, of Amherst, NH, her stepson Edward Charity, and his wife Sadaf, of Windham, NH; her siblings: Glen Taylor and his wife Patty, David Taylor and his wife Diane; as well as 12 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Jane is predeceased by her husband of 31 years: Edward H. Charity, and her sister: Brenda Varitimos.

Relatives and friends are invited to her life celebration to be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023, from 4-7 PM, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, October 13, 2023 at 10 AM, at St. Matthew's Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. Interment will follow at Cemetery on the Plain, Ministerial Road, Windham, NH.
