James M.
"Jim" Trowt
Mar 5, 1947 — Apr 28, 2023
Salem
James M. "Jim" Trowt, 76, of Salem, NH passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023, at Holy Family Hospital with his family by his side. He was born on March 5, 1947, to the late John and Marion (Durrell) Trowt, in Beverly, MA. Being born and raised in Beverly, Jim graduated from Beverly High School and went on to earn an associate degree from Salem State University.
After college, Jim proudly served his country in the United States Navy. In 1995, Jim was joined in Holy Matrimony to the love of his life Rosalynd Gulezian, whom he had known for many years. They met while they were both working for Home Savings Bank, and Jim always found a reason to visit the location Rosalynd was working at. From there a lifelong friendship and marriage blossomed.
Jim had many joys in life, including running the bus service and bingo games with his wife, for the Ingram Senior Center in Salem, NH. Jim was a sports fan through and through. He enjoyed watching baseball, hockey and football, and passed his love of sports on to his family. Jim was a family man and was always there for anyone who needed help. Above all, Jim enjoyed the time spent with his wife and family.
In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his children: Jeffrey Trowt, and his wife Lesa, of Whitingham, VT, Jill Trowt, and Michael Gulezian Sr., of Concord, NH; and his grandchildren: Jacob, Jordyn, Michael, and Frank.
