James J. "Jim" Doiron, 65 of Derry, NH, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family, at his home on Thursday, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.

Jim was born in Lawrence, MA, where he grew up and attended Lawrence Public Schools, and graduated from Central Catholic High School and Fisher College. He was a resident of Derry, NH for the past 7 years, formerly of Plaistow, NH, where he lived for 24 years.

Jim was a retired Purchasing Manager for UniQure in Lexington, MA, working in the pharmaceuticals industry throughout his materials management career. He enjoyed traveling and boating on Big Island Pond and Lake Winnipesaukee. Most of all Jim loved being with his family and making special memories with them.

Jim is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years: Beth (DiVincentis) Doiron of Derry, NH and children: Kimberly and her husband Patrick Demers of Methuen, MA, and their children: Kaylie, Patrick and Emma, Julie and her husband Vincent Manfrate of Derry, NH, and James Doiron Jr. of  Derry, NH, and his children: Corbin and Addison; siblings: Susan Cocchiaro of  Auburn, NH and Michael Doiron of Derry, NH, and several nieces and nephews.

Jim is predeceased by his mother: Elizabeth "Betty" (Lister) Doiron.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, July 11th from 4-8 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH.
