James "Jim" Allen Dickey, 75, of East Hampstead, NH, passed away on Thursday morning, February 20, 2025, at the Elliot Hospital.

Jim was born on February 24, 1949, to Aletha Adele Ann (Eldredge) and Russell Elbridge Dickey. He was raised on Island Pond Road in Derry, attended local schools, and went on to a local trade school. Jim proudly served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War, where he earned the National Defense Service Medal, the Vietnam Service Medal, and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.

He spent his career as a truck driver, owning and operating his own company, JR Trucking for many years.

Jim had a special place in his heart for family and always loved the time they were able to spend together. He was an avid formula 1 fan and enjoyed his time spent working on the Dream Weaver. Jim liked to be outdoors and enjoyed camping and fishing. He also enjoyed watching Disney movies and listening to audiobooks.

He is survived by his children, Jimmy Dickey and his wife Angie of NH, Julie and Justin Hayward of ME, Jamie and Steve Hein of FL; his grandchildren, Devin, Brady, Emily, and Kara; his sisters, Aletha B. Dickey Wood and Jo Ann Dickey; his former wife, Judy Dickey; his brother-in-law, Rick Wood and his wife Kris; as well as many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jim was predeceased by his brother, Russell Dickey, Jr.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
