Jacqueline L. Gucciardi, 90, longtime resident of Salem, NH, passed away on Saturday, January 17, 2026, at Greystone Farm in Salem, NH. She was born on March 7, 1935 to the late Arthur Deshaies and Alice (Lee), in Lawrence, MA.
In 1979 Jacqueline started working for the Town of Salem, NH. She had many rolls within the Town Hall. Most importantly she was the Tax Collector for several years, until her retirement in 1999. Then she enjoyed traveling with her husband Gus and friends on many cruises and trips to Florida. A devout Catholic, Jaqueline was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, in Salem, NH.
Jaqueline is survived by her children: Anthony Gucciardi, of Lake Worth, FL, Stephen Gucciardi, of Lake Worth, FL, and Susan Pepper, and her husband Greg, of Salem, NH; her brother: Tom Deshaies, of Hampstead, NH; and her grandchildren: Jasper, Grant, and Jackie.
In addition to her parents, Jacqueline is predeceased be her husband: Gaspare Gucciardi; their daughter: Lee Ann Gucciardi; and her brothers: Arthur Deshaies Jr. and Robert Deshaies.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, January 23, 2026, at 11 AM, at St. Joseph's Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
