Henry Charles Berek, 82, of Salem, NH, passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2024, in his home. He was born on April 25, 1942, in Warwick, RI, to the late Charles Berek.

After high school, Henry proudly served his country with the United States Navy. Upon his return home, he began his career as a self-employed contractor.

Henry had a passion for fishing that extended beyond just a mere hobby. He adored his time spent bass fishing out on the lake, with locations like Lake Winnisquam being particularly close to his heart. He was also a longstanding member of the Northeastern Lunkers Association.

Henry is survived by his children, Sasha and Seth Berek; his stepchildren, Jason Doyle and his wife Linda, Michelle Doyle, and Christopher Doyle; his grandchildren Jeremiah, Matthew, Jason Jr. and Justin; his great-grandchildren Andrew and Jasper; his sister Gloria; and many loving nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by the love of his life, Rosemarie Doyle-Berek.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, from 4-6pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A service for both Henry and his late wife, Rosemarie, will begin at 6pm at the funeral home.
