Geraldine Ann
(Donovan) Homsey
Oct 6, 1934 — Nov 6, 2023
Salem
Geraldine Ann (Donovan) Homsey, 89 of Salem, NH, died peacefully Monday at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Geraldine was born in Lawrence, MA, where she grew up, was educated, and graduated from St. Patrick's High School. She was a longtime resident of Salem, NH, where she raised her family.
She was a proud member of the Ladies Ancient Order of the Hibernians and the Women of Northern Essex.
Geri was lucky, she spent her entire professional career doing exactly what she always wanted, caring for and watching over her children. Later in life, she did the same for each and every one of her grandchildren. If not at a ballfield, gym, recital, theater performance or awards ceremony she could be found gliding across a dance floor with her husband, Sam. Her obvious passion for family was second to none, well except maybe her Irish heritage! Geri was blessed with many lifelong friends, and while at the end of her life, mentioned how she found comfort knowing she would see them once again.
Geraldine was predeceased by her beloved husband Samuel F. Homsey Sr. and her sons John "Jay" and Glenn M. Homsey, and her son in law Dennis Blaine.
She is survived by her children: Robin Homsey Blaine of Florida, Samuel Homsey Jr. and his partner Veronique St. Pierre of Seabrook, NH, and Christopher D. and his wife Beth Homsey of Salem, NH.
Daughters in Law: LeeAnne Homsey of NY and Sheri Homsey of Salem, NH, and Kelly Homsey of Windham, NH.
10 Grandchildren, 3 Great Grandchildren, Several Nieces and Nephews.
