George Fulton Benner, 89, of Cape Fair, MO, passed away on March 23, 2025, at his home, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 26, 1935, to Freida (Uhl) and Clayton Benner. George was raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts and attended local schools. He went on to spend the next forty years serving his country in the United States Air Force. George retired as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Supervisor.

George married the love of his life, Margaret (Schaffer) on November 7, 1954, and the couple raised their family in Riverside, California. In his spare time, George enjoying camping, shooting, and motorcycle riding. He also loved watching his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys.

He is survived by his son, Dennis G. Benner (Mary Johnston Benner); and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, George was predeceased by his siblings, Clayton Benner, Barbara Benner, Dorothy Thomas, Harold Benner, Ruth Blanchette, Betty Shawcross, Eleanor Childs, Frieda LaRoche, and Charles Benner.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 30th, from 12-3pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will take place on Monday morning, at 10:30am, at the funeral home. Interment with Air Force Honors will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Methuen, MA.
