Frank Fungtsang Lien, 82, passed away on the morning of September 27, 2023 in Windham, New Hampshire, surrounded by family.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Fangying; his daughter Lotus and her husband Richard; his son Larry and his wife Janey; 3 grandchildren, Audrey, Connor and Ethan; and his brother and sister in Taiwan.

Born in Taitung, Taiwan on October 24, 1941, Frank studied Chemical Engineering and received his undergraduate degree at National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan and Masters degree at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Frank became a buddhist and vegetarian in his 20's and practiced the doctrine of nonviolence toward any living being.  He particularly loved vegetarian cuisine and playing bridge.

His kind heart will be deeply missed.  Frank will be returned to Taiwan and laid to rest with his father Lien Lien Zheng and mother Gong Bao Zhi.
