On September 3, 2025, we said goodbye to our beloved mother, Florence Martin, who passed away at the remarkable age of 102. Born Florence LeBlanc in Lowell, Massachusetts, she lived a vibrant and fulfilling life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.

Florence held various positions early on in life before serving for many years as an Executive Secretary at Raytheon Missile Systems in Bedford Massachusetts. After retiring, Florence's zest for life led her back to work at Scott Electronics, in Salem NH where she remained active until the age of 88.

In 1939, Florence married her beloved husband, Lucien Martin, and together they raised five children. Family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with her loved ones. In her later years, Florence found delight in visiting the Encore Casino in Boston, where she was known as a spirited video poker player. She also enjoyed the thrill of Massachusetts lottery scratch tickets.

While we deeply mourn her passing, we celebrate Florence's long, rich life and the legacy of love she leaves behind. She is survived by her five children: Jackie, Paul, Roger, Elaine, and Jane. Florence also leaves behind 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, her sons-in-law Jack Metzemaekers and Tom Harrington, and her daughter-in-law Gail Martin.

Private family services will be held at a date to be determined. Florence's memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
