Erin Carter

Erin (Brady) Carter, 61, of the Derry area, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday July, 15th at her home.

Erin was born on June 19, 1964, and was a resident of the Derry area. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend whose kindness, humor, and love for her family touched many lives.

Erin is survived by her children, Heather Simmons and Matt Simmons, both of Derry, NH; her grandchildren, Jeremy Simmons and Jaxson Booker of Connecticut, and Ireland Simmons of Derry, NH. She is also survived by her brother, Shawn Brady and his late wife Alicia Brady of Dunbarton, NH; her sisters, Jeryl Sharpe and her husband Joseph Sharpe of Salem, NH, and Melissa Willis and her husband David Willis of Dunbarton, NH; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward C. Brady of Lawrence, MA, and Geraldine Cormier Brady of Salem, NH; her brother, Scott Brady of Colebrook, NH; and her sisters, Colleen Fancy of Salem, NH, and Krista Simpson of Derry, NH.

Erin was a dedicated employee of Sanmina Corporation in Derry, NH. Outside of work, she found great joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved spending time outdoors, especially fishing and camping, tending to her house plants, and cooking meals for the people she loved. Above all, Erin treasured time spent with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, who brought her immense happiness.

Those who knew Erin will remember her larger-than-life sense of humor and her ability to make others laugh. She was always ready with a joke and brought joy and laughter wherever she went. Her warmth, laughter, and loving spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
