Edward Terino, 72, of Windham, NH, passed away unexpectedly on October 13, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. In April of this year, Ed was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. He underwent two aggressive rounds of chemotherapy, fighting privately and tirelessly. He achieved remission and was advised to undergo a stem cell transplant, his only option for a cure and more time with his family. Tragically, due to a complication, Ed's life came to an unexpected end.

Born in Chelsea, MA, and raised in Everett, Ed's life was grounded in the strength of family, lifelong friendships, and a steadfast dedication to those he loved. It was in Everett where he met Cheryl, his high school sweetheart and the love of his life. Their journey began on October 20, 1973, a night that marked the beginning of the rest of their lives together. They shared their first kiss at the Rendezvous Café—witnessed by their dear friend Sal; and soon after, their very first dance to Bette Midler's Do You Wanna Dance, playing on the jukebox. From that moment on, their dating anniversary became just as important as their wedding day.

Ed used to stand outside Cheryl's window and sing Try a Little Tenderness by Three Dog Night into the night air, just one of the many ways he expressed his love. For 52 years, they did everything together. Their love was constant, steady, and true.

Together, they built a beautiful life, first in Everett, and later in Windham, NH, where they built their home and raised their family.

A respected and accomplished executive, Ed built a remarkable career in management, finance, and strategic consulting. He held leadership roles across the technology and maritime industries, driving innovation and growth wherever he went. Even after retirement, he continued to share his expertise as President of GET Advisory Services, guiding businesses through complex challenges with vision, wisdom, and integrity.

Ed's greatest passion was never found in boardrooms, it was at home. A devoted husband, proud father, and adoring "Papa," he believed his true purpose was to protect and care for his family. Everything he did was with them in mind. His unwavering love and dedication will live on in the lives he so deeply touched.

Ed is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Cheryl, with whom he shared one final slow dance on the Fourth of July to their wedding song, Colour My World. He leaves behind his three adoring daughters: Kerri-Ann Blanchard and her husband John, Kristine Vafadar and her husband Mo, and Geena Goudreau and her husband Shea. He was a proud Papa to his grandsons Joseph Blanchard, Darious and Dante Vafadar, and Theo Goudreau.

Ed is also survived by his sisters Joanne Terino, Regina Schrage and her husband Ed, and Debbie Mercurio and her husband Jimmy, as well as many extended family members, friends, and colleagues who will miss him dearly. He was predeceased by his parents, Raffael and Alfonso Terino; his sister Elena Terino; and his mother-in-law, Carmella DiMastrantonio.

A man of strong values and quiet strength, Ed will be remembered for his grit, focus, and resilience, qualities he often shared with his favorite quarterback, Tom Brady. His admiration for Brady was legendary, though his daughter Geena may have been the only one who ever came close to competing for that top spot in his heart. He had a deep love for New England sports and found joy in watching games with his family. Some of his fondest memories included traveling to Italy and Bermuda, cheering on his daughters and grandkids at games and tournaments, and hosting family gatherings often featuring his famous homemade pizza and sangria.

Ed's legacy is deeply woven into the lives of his family. He helped Kerri embrace her strengths as a mother, bonded with Geena over Red Sox games, music, and a shared work ethic, and dreamed with Kristine of obtaining Italian citizenship and exploring their heritage. He had a refined appreciation for Amarone wine, and though he didn't love dancing, he never turned down a slow dance with Cheryl.

Ed's life was a testament to the power of love, hard work, and commitment. His legacy lives on in the family he cherished and the countless lives he touched.
