Obituary

Diane V. DiOrio, 70, of Windham, NH, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, July 19, 2026, surrounded by her beloved family, after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. Her fight is now over, and she is finally at peace. A true warrior, “Dyanne” faced every challenge with remarkable strength, grace, and unwavering faith, inspiring all who knew and loved her.

Dyanne was born on October 17, 1955, in Lynn, MA. She spent much of her childhood on an adventure, moving from place to place before eventually settling in Windham, NH where she spent most of her life. While she worked for many years in the floral department of the family business, Craft Mania, her greatest accomplishment and proudest role was being a mother, grandmother, and the heart of her family. Dyanne’s greatest joy was being Mimi to her beloved grandchildren, JT and his fiancée Nicole, Grace, Emma, Bentley, Mikey, AJ, Jackson, and Cammy.

Dyanne welcomed everyone she met with an open heart; she had a gift for making people feel valued and accepted. She was known for her gentle spirit, authenticity, generosity, and unwavering faith. She had a natural sense of style and carried herself with grace, confidence, and warmth.

Dyanne is survived by her devoted husband, Anthony “Tony” DiOrio; her children, Tara DiOrio-Thomas and her husband, John Thomas; Anthony DiOrio and his wife, Melissa DiOrio; Deanna Carter and her husband, Corey Carter; and Melissa Caron and her husband, Michael Caron. She also leaves behind her beloved grandchildren.

She is further survived by her brother, Don Burrill and his wife, Barbara Burrill; her sister, Darlene Grenon and her husband, Bruce Grenon; her brother, Fred Burrill; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Dyanne was predeceased by her father, Donald Burrill; her mother, Barbara Burrill Goodrich; and her sisters, Deborah DePietro and Dale Burrill.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, July 26, 2026, from 3–6 p.m., at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A private burial will take place at the Cemetery on the Plain in Windham, NH.
