Dora Bouchard

Apr 11, 1961 — Oct 2, 2026

Allenstown, NH

Dora D. Bouchard, 65, of Allenstown, NH, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 2, 2026, at the Catholic Medical Center. She was born on April 11, 1961, in Lawrence, MA, to the late Ralph and Muriel (Deveau) Bouchard.

Dora grew up in Salem, NH, where she attended local schools. Following her graduation, she entered the workforce and made a successful career for herself, mostly with Lucent. It was at work that she met the love of her life, Paula, to whom she was married to for 23 years. The two later moved together to Allenstown, NH, where Dora had been living for the last 10 years.

Dora was fun to a fault, with a cheerful mindset and inability to be serious. Her lighthearted nature earned her the official title as “fun Auntie” with her many nieces and nephews. She was blessed beyond belief by her 15 grandnieces and grandnephews, to whom she was simply “Bouchard.” She loved nothing more than goofing around with the kids, while of course also teaching them her signature dance move, the “Bouchard Shuffle.”

In her free time, Dora enjoyed spending time in nature. She loved the beach and was an avid camper, with her favorite destination being Israel River in Jefferson. She was also an animal lover to her core and a dog-mom to numerous dogs over the years.

Dora is survived by her nieces and nephews, Denise Young, Jimmy Young and his wife Karen, Michelle Doyle, Jason Doyle and his wife Linda, Billy Young and his wife Maria, Dominique Morgan and her husband Ricardo, and Daniel Bouchard; her beloved grandnieces and grandnephews; several “great-grands;” her dog and four-legged companion, Marley, as well as many members of her extended family.

In addition to her parents, Dora was predeceased by her beloved wife, Paula (Burke) Bouchard; siblings, Norma Young, Rosemarie Doyle-Berek, and Victor Bouchard; and nephew, Mikey Young.

Per her wishes, there are no services to announce at this time. A private burial will take place at the Elmwood Cemetery in Bradford, MA, at a later date.

In honoring her deep love for animals, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to your local animal rescue of choice in lieu of flowers.
