Dennis Aime Ouellette, 78, of Salem, NH, passed away on Thursday afternoon, May 21st, 2026, at the Massachusetts General Hospital.

He was born on July 5, 1947, to Alice (Matthes) and Aime Ouellette. Dennis was raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts, graduated from Lawrence High School, and went on to take courses at Salem State University. He then enlisted and served in the United States Navy, where he was stationed in Rhode Island. Throughout those four years, he played for the Navy bowling team, played fife in the band, and was privileged with responsibilities on the Admiral’s ship. Following his service, Dennis completed his bachelor's degree at Fitchburg State University.

Dennis married the love of his life, Judith “Judy” (Cangiano) on June 24, 1972. The couple raised their family in Salem, NH.

He spent almost 30 years working for King Printing in Lowell, MA as a Schedule Supervisor. Outside of work, Dennis enjoyed time spent at home, surrounded by those he loved. He also enjoyed trips to the casino, playing 45s, and rooting for the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.

Dennis was a generous, funny and kind man, who will be greatly missed by his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of almost 54 years, Judy Ouellette; his daughter, Meredith Hileman and her husband Raymond of Salem; his son, Jeffrey Ouellette of Salem; as well as many friends.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, May 27th, from 4pm to 7pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will take place on Thursday morning, at 11am, at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. Burial and military honors will be held at a later date.
