Dennis J.
Conrad
Dec 5, 1950 — Aug 11, 2025
Salem
Dennis John Conrad, 74, of Salem, NH, passed away on Monday, August 11, 2025, at the Brigham and Women's Hospital, in Boston, MA. He was born on December 5, 1950, in Lawrence, MA, to the late Robert and Evelyn (Fawcett) Conrad.
Dennis was raised in Lawrence, where he attended local schools and made a great number of friends. In high school, he and his buddies formed their very own rock band named "Chain Reaction," for which he played the guitar. Following graduation, he proudly served his country with the United States Army.
Following his service, Dennis returned home and began working alongside his father for the family business, R.A. Conrad Painting Contractor. He later used his knowledge gained while renovating homes to begin his long and successful career with Home Depot.
Dennis was an avid collector of model cars, coins, and stamps. He also enjoyed time spent outdoors, whether that be at a car enthusiast's meet up, while out on his motorcycle or on a number of camping trips over the years. Most importantly, Dennis was a kind and laid-back man, whose love for his extended family was most evident.
Dennis is survived by his brothers, Robert "Bob" Conrad of Sun City, FL, Gary Conrad and his wife Beverly of Sarasota, FL, as well as many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Dennis was predeceased by his brother, Alfred Conrad; sister, Gail Prive; his brother-in-law, Rene Prive; and sister-in-law, JoAnn Conrad.
