David Lee Tanis, 48, of Windham, NH, passed away on July 18, 2023.

He was a beloved father, son, and brother, known for his welcoming personality and his love for his three sons.

David is survived by his mother, Sara Perkett, his father, Robert Tanis, his sister, Brenda Tanis Mazzella, his three sons, Joshua (12), Jackson (10), and James (9) as well his aunt, Beth Perkett and his uncle, Fred Tanis and several cousins.Born in Ann Arbor, Michigan, David moved to Ashland, Massachusetts in the first grade and graduated from Ashland High School in 1992. After high school, David spent a year at Ohio State University and a year in the Boston City Year Program and then went on to earn a degree
in Business Administration with honor from the Florida Institute of Technology. His career as a Data Analytics professional spanned across finance and healthcare industries in the US, Southeast Asia and Australia.

His greatest joy was spending time with his three boys and teaching them new skills and encouraging their education and growth in life.

For family and friends in the Windham area, Calling Hours will be held on Wednesday, August 9th from 4 to 7pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087.

For family and friends in the Ashland area, visitation take place on Sunday, August 13, 2023, from 2-5pm at 12 Haven Way, Ashland, MA 01721.
