David Lantagne

David Lantagne, 61, of Salem, NH, passed away on October 30, 2026, at his home. He was born on August 28, 1965, to the late Louis Lantagne and Marcelle (Jean), in Methuen, MA.

David was a family man, who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones every chance he had. A true outdoorsman, David enjoyed freshwater fishing and camping. David loved to grill and always enjoyed a good steak. He also enjoyed watching Nascar races with his friends. If anyone had a green thumb, it was David. He enjoyed planting flowers outside his home and watching the birds, bees, and butterflies interact with them. He and even had a small vegetable garden, growing tomatoes and more recently jalapeño peppers, herbs and even a raspberry bush.

David brightened every room he walked into. His friends and family will always remember him for the fun, silly, thoughtful, generous, uplifting and knowledgeable man he was. David was also an incredible father to his daughter.

David is survived by his daughter: Elyse Lantagne, of Londonderry, NH; his siblings: Philippe and his wife Jocelyn Lantagne of Pelham, NH, Janet and her husband Bruce Codagnone of East Hampstead, NH, and John Lantagne of Tewksbury, MA; as well as several nieces, nephews, grand nieces, grand nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, David is predeceased by his brother: Steven Lantagne.

Friends and family are invited to Calling Hours on Wednesday, November 11, 2026, from 4-7 PM, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 11:30 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
