David Joseph Brown, 65 of Derry, NH, passed away on Thursday November 30th, 2023, with his family by his side, at Tufts Medical Center in Boston. His passing came after a courageous 20-month long struggle with heart disease.

David was raised in Westford, MA and was the son of the late Joseph and Gloria (Moreno) Brown. He then graduated from UMass Lowell receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science. While attending college, he met the love of his life Nancy Martin, and they were married in 1982. After marrying, they settled in Derry, NH, where they raised two wonderful sons: Craig and Ryan.

While balancing his responsibilities as a father and husband, David worked his way up from a Technologist to a Senior Health Physicist, where he retired from Lantheus Medical Imaging in 2021 after 40 years.

Nothing was more important than family for David, but he also enjoyed spending time in nature. He was an avid outdoorsman, who enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, and canoeing.

David is predeceased by his sister Pamela Stone and in-laws Joan and Edward Martin. He is survived by his loving wife Nancy of 41 years; sons, Craig and Ryan, Ryan's girlfriend, Michelle; brother and sister-in-law, Bernie and Maria Martin; his nephew Chris; niece Jessica and her husband Joe Forte; and brother, Michael.

David was an exceptionally compassionate and selfless person, who was always willing to help others in need. His genuine and honest character will be remembered by all those who knew him.

Friends and relatives are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, December 6th from 9:30 – 11:00AM followed by funeral service at 11:00AM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Rd, Windham, NH. Burial will follow in Forest Hill Cemetery, Derry, NH.
