Darlene A. (Bentley) Ebert, 70, of Haverhill, MA, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 25, 1955 in Boston MA to the late John and Anna (Balboni) Bentley. She was raised in Boston, MA and Sacramento, CA, due to her father being in the military.

Darlene was a graduate of Northern Essex Community College, earning her Associates Degree in Administration. Darlene dedicated her life to working in retail and as a Seamstress.

Darlene found immense joy in being surrounded by her family, cherishing every moment spent together, especially during Holidays. Her favorite past time was indulging in arts and crafts, where she poured her heart into creating heartfelt gifts, costumes, and blankets for everyone she knew.

In her leisure time, Darlene enjoyed playing games such as Sorry and Yahtzee with her children and grandchildren. She also loved being on her tablet playing her games. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, creativity, laughter and unwavering devotion to her family.

Darlene was predeceased by her parents John and Anna Bentley, her son Richard Bentley, twin sister Donna Bentley, and brothers Gerry Bentley and Henry D'Alelio.

Darlene is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Bentley) Dowd and husband Shaun of NC, Amy (Ebert) Villers of Haverhill, MA, Lorene (Aubin) Ingle and husband Jason of NC, Josie (Ebert) McCarthy and Carlos N. Cruz of Methuen, MA. Her sisters Gayle and Jesse Cedillo of CA and Teresa and Frank Flanagan of MA. Grandchildren Christopher Demain, Brenda and Keith Leenders, Steven and Lyda McCarthy, Dante Cruz, Victoria and Madison Villers, Juliana and Nicholas Dowd, Paeton and Isabella Brown.

The family would like to thank Beacon Hospice and Age Span for their care and compassion towards Darlene.
