Czeslaw Wodarski, 82, a longtime resident of Windham, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the home he lovingly built himself.

Czeslaw was born on July 1, 1942, to the late Jan Adam and Franciszka (Rutkowska) Wodarski in Plock, Poland. Raised in Poland, he later moved to Chelsea, MA, before settling in Windham, NH. A dedicated employee of Fabtron Corporation, Czeslaw retired after 30 years due to health concerns.

Outside of work, Czeslaw was passionate about music, particularly playing the accordion with his polka band, The Eastern Sound. The band often performed at the Hampton Beach Shell, which held special meaning as it was where he met his beloved wife, Alina. His musical journey also took him to Polish social clubs across Massachusetts and New York.

In addition to his love for music, Czeslaw enjoyed traveling, especially to North Conway, NH, Florida, and Canada. At home, he found joy in spending time with his grandchildren, sharing his love for shows like The Looney Tunes , WWF wrestling, and the Indiana Jones movies. His family fondly remembers his great sense of humor and his appreciation for classic Lincoln Town Cars.

Above all, Czeslaw treasured the moments spent with his grandchildren, Chase and Charly, who will deeply miss him.

Czeslaw is survived by his loving wife, Alina (Jarosinska) Wodarski; his daughter, Kady Phaneuf, and her husband Mark, his grandchildren, Chase and Charly; of Dracut, MA; his son, Tom Wodarski, and his wife Heather; and his brother, Ryszard Wodarski, and his wife Bozena.

Friends and family are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, October 5, 2024, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH. A funeral service will immediately follow at the funeral home, with interment taking place at the Cemetery on the Plain in Windham, NH.
