Colleen (O'Donohue) Hamel, 62, of Haverhill, MA, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at Portsmouth Regional Hospital surrounded by loving family.

Colleen is survived by her parents Charles and Carol (Ashford) O'Donohue; partner Rich Goldoni; children Elizabeth Aschebrook, Gregory Hamel, Christopher (Amanda Ciarla) Hamel; grandchildren Ethan Aschebrook, Carter Hamel, Reese Hamel; siblings Tim (Crystal) O'Donohue, Doreen Hebert. Colleen was deeply loved by her partner's family: Ellie (mother), Glenn (brother), Dan/Sarah (children), and Layla (granddaughter). She is also survived and loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Colleen's favorite activities included various arts and crafts, trips to the beach and deep sea fishing. She loved spending time with her grandkids. Colleen enjoyed taking care of the elderly and children. Of her past careers, she was a school bus driver for many years and thoroughly enjoyed working with her students. Colleen will always be remembered for her sense of humor and her gregarious and warm personality, she would make friends everywhere she went.
