Claire C. (Kolifrath) Potvin, 91, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center, in Manchester, NH. She was born on Christmas Day 1932, the only child of the late Charles and Viola Kolifrath, in Methuen, MA. Claire was raised and educated in Methuen, graduating from Searles High School.

Claire was the wife of the late Henry J. Potvin Jr., whom she was married to for 41 years. They met at a dance at Canobie Lake Park, in Salem, NH. During her career, Claire worked at Bon Secours Hospital, in Methuen, in the admitting office. Later, she worked as an assistant for a chiropractor in North Andover. Claire enjoyed holidays with her family, winters in Florida, traveling to tropical islands, and of course lunch and shopping with her family and friends.

Claire is survived by her four children: Richard Potvin, of Londonderry, NH, Debra Gillis, and her husband Timothy, of Epping, NH, Linda Potvin, of Dracut, MA, and Gary Potvin, and his wife Lisa, of Epsom, NH; her grandson: Adam, and his wife Jill, of Nashua, NH; and her two beautiful great-grandchildren: Grace and Sara.

Friends and family are invited to Calling Hours on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from 9-11 AM, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will follow at 11 AM, at the funeral home. Interment will be private to the family at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen, NH.
