Claire M. Kinneen, 96, of Salem, NH, passed on Thursday, January 29, 2026, at High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill, MA. She was born on January 25, 1930, to the late Francis and Elinore (Dromey) Fitzpatrick in Boston, MA.

Claire was raised in Hyde Park and attended St. Gregory's High School. She earned a degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts Boston and later received her Master's degree in Education from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. Claire taught in Boston, Quincy, Marlboro, and Belmont over the years. She volunteered at the Salem Senior Center and was the volunteer of the year at the Parkland Medical Center.

Claire is survived by her sons Timothy Kinneen and his wife Pamela of Pelham, NH, Terrence Kinneen and his wife Kathleen of Pelham, NH, Dennis Michael Kinneen and his wife Deborah of Braintree, MA, Sean Kinneen and his wife Joanne of Lexington, MA, James Kinneen and his wife Roisin of Arlington, MA, and Devin Kinneen and his wife Tracy of Salem, NH; her seventeen grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

She is predeceased by her husband James Kinneen and her siblings.

Friends and family are invited to calling hours on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, from 4-6 PM at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Church, 40 Main Street, Salem, NH 03079. Interment will take place at Westview Cemetery in Lexington, MA on Thursday, February 12, 2026, at 2:30 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Salem Senior Center.
