Christopher Joseph Geary, 39, of Reston, VA passed away on Friday, November 10th, 2023, after a brief illness.

Chris was born on July 3, 1984, to Jeanne Maggio and John W. Geary. He was raised in Braintree, MA, where he attended local primary schools and then attended BC High School in Boston, MA. He earned his bachelor's degree from Salve Regina University in Newport, RI. Following graduation, Chris enlisted in the United States Navy, where he served for over eight years as an Intelligence Specialist, serving alongside U.S. Navy SEALs in multiple warzones across the globe. Upon his discharge from the Navy, he began his civilian career as a defense contractor and continued to work with SEAL teams. Chris continued to serve in other non-traditional methods, including training service dogs to assist disabled veterans.

Chris was an avid swimmer, who loved to spearfish and spend time in the ocean. Chris enjoyed running, traveling, and spending time with friends. Chris also had an appreciation for art and enjoyed collecting different pieces.

Chris is survived by his loving wife, Ariel Gendron; his mother, Jeanne Maggio; his father, John Geary; his brother, Joshua Pino; his cousin who was like a brother, Jimmy Geary; his best friends, Adam Scheer, Christopher Koeberly, Jeff Amari, and Pat Carney; as well as many aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 17th from 10am to 1pm, at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A funeral service will immediately follow at 1pm at the funeral home.
