Charlotte A. Gallagher, 79, of Salem, New Hampshire, passed away on November 12, 2023, at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, MA. She was born to Edward and Mary (Waldrin) Pilch on July 20, 1944, in Lawrence, MA.
Charlotte was raised in Lawrence, where she was a devoted parishioner at St. Patrick's Parish. She later moved to Salem, NH, which she called her home for the past 40 years. Upon her retirement, she kept busy with her crocheting, volunteering for Toys for Tots, and through her active involvement in her church.
Charlotte was a devout Catholic throughout the entirety of her life and gave herself whole-heartedly to her religious community. After moving to New Hampshire, she devoted her time to St. Matthew's Parish in Windham. There Charlotte served as a Eucharistic Minister and usher for several years. The community that she found through her faith brought her the upmost fulfillment, which was clear to all who knew her.

DiMattia of Melrose, MA, and Mary Collins of Salem, NH; her grandson William F. Gallagher; her longtime companion, Alain B. Houle; as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was predeceased by her sister, Patricia H. Dixon and her brother, Charles Pilch.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, November 28th, 2023, at 11 AM, at St. Matthew's Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH 03087. Interment will be private for the family at St. Mary Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Lawrence, MA.
