Obituary

Charles Joseph Kirk, 67, of Danville, NH, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 16, 2026, with his beloved daughter by his side. He was born on November 25, 1958, in Woburn, MA, to Ann Kirk and Charles Kirk.

Chuck's life truly began the moment that his daughter, Brianna (Kirk) Spero, was born. He was a thoughtful, generous, and genuine father who loved Brianna deeply — affectionately calling her "Tiger." Chuck was one of the most influential people in Brianna's life. His wisdom, strength, and character left a lasting impact on Brianna and she held endless admiration for him.

From teaching Brianna how to ride a bike to sharing their first Disney trip together, and walking her down the aisle, Chuck prided himself on being present as a father as possible. His love and devotion to family only grew stronger with the arrival of his grandchildren.

A dedicated and proud "Gramps," Chuck never missed an opportunity to show up for the people he loved most. Whether it was gymnastics meets, jujitsu practices, school graduations, or everyday moments, his grandchildren always knew they could count on him being there cheering them on.

Chuck spent his career in the culinary industry, most recently working at Vicor as a chef. He was also an entrepreneur, talented website designer, and an excellent poker player who enjoyed the challenge and camaraderie of the game. Intelligent, funny, brave, and adventurous, Chuck had a way of making people laugh while also making them feel seen and valued.

In his free time, he loved cooking for family and friends, participating in his award-winning racquetball league, photographing nature, and taking long drives. One of his greatest adventures was completing a solo cross-country road trip. Among all the places he traveled, his favorite place was mile marker 99.6 in New Hampshire — a spot that brought him peace and happiness.

Chuck will be remembered for his sharp wit, adventurous spirit, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. He was the best father and "Gramps" his family could have asked for, and his presence will be deeply missed every day.

Chuck is survived by his daughter, Brianna and her husband Gino Spero; his grandchildren, Kylah, Parker, and Luca; his sister, Carol Palumbo and her husband John; his step father, Bob Jordan; as well as many nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.

In accordance with the family's wishes, there are no services to announce at this time.

Arrangements are under the care of the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087.
