Charles W. "Chuck" Stern II, 77, of Hampstead, NH, passed away on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Greystone Farm, in Salem, NH. He was born on February 14, 1948, to the late Charles G. Stern and Estelle (Slagona), in Washington, DC.

Chuck started his working career as a radio host and DJ at Rutgers University. He then went on to serve his nation in the United States Army, working as a Military Intelligence Officer, in Vietnam. When Chuck returned from active duty, he went to work for the National Security Administration. Later in his career, he went on to work at Silicon Valley, in engineering and sales.

During his life, Chuck enjoyed the great outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and enjoyed all shooting sports. He could regularly be found inside the house making wine or outside working in the yard on his Kubota tractor. Together with his wife, he enjoyed traveling to Maine, New York State, and Las Vegas, NV.

Chuck is survived by his wife of many years: Elaine (Mosher) Stern; his sister: Stephanie Chaconas; his close friends: Mike and Chip; as well as several nephews.

At Chuck's request, there will be no funeral services at this time.
