Charlene Ann Sheldon, 78, of Atkinson, NH passed away on Thursday morning, January 5, 2023 at Bear Mountain at Andover.

She was born on February 14, 1944 to Mary T. (Woytowicz) and Charles R. Martin. Her father lovingly called her Rosebud. Charlene was raised in Peabody, MA and attended local schools. She went on to further her education at the IBM School. Charlene spent over 30 years working for the Internal Revenue Service.

Charlene loved spending time at New England beaches with family and friends.  She was full of life and always had a song in her heart. She was a social butterfly with many friends and absolutely adored her grandchildren. She was a proud member of the Polish, Russian, Lithuanian, American, Citizen's Club.

Charlene is survived by her children, Eileen Salisbury and her husband Christopher of Atkinson, NH, Peter Sheldon and his significant other, Shari Horlink of Atkinson, and Heather A. Sheldon and her wife Dyan Piacentini of Newburyport, MA; her grandchildren, Matthew and Sophia Calandriello; her sister, Jeanne Langis; her brother, James Martin and his wife Betty; her dearest friend, Elaine Metje; as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Charlene was predeceased by her husband, Gordon Edward "Nick" Sheldon.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, January 11 ^th from 5 to 7pm at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday morning, at 11am at St. Matthew's Parish, 2 Searles Road, Windham, NH. Burial will be private for the family.
