With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Cathy Ada Fiorello, at the age of 74, after a brief illness over the last few months. The admiration for her strength and courage to endure an overwhelming level of pain, without ever uttering a word of fear or anger while simply refusing to give up and continue to be optimistic about coming home to live and love for years to come.

Cathy is predeceased by her father, Joseph F. Paczosa and her mother, Elizabeth F. McGowan.

She is survived by her beloved husband, Michael Fiorello; her sons, Michael and Joey Andreoli; her beloved grandchildren, whom she adored, Devani, Jake, Ally, and Nick; and her sister, Pamela Anderson.

Cathy was born and raised in Lowell, MA, graduated from Lowell High School, and went on to earn her degree from Newbury College. She began her career as a certified Respiratory Therapist at several of the area's prestigious hospital's intensive care units. Cathy later earned the position of Regional Director.

She genuinely loved being a caregiver to her patients and had a natural ability and capacity for helping people. Later in her career, she moved into homecare, where she was able to provide care and support for her patients on an individual basis. She really enjoyed speaking with and getting to know each of them.

Cathy and her loving husband Michael, joined in marriage on May 13, 1989, and lived a fairytale life together full of love, affection, peace, and tranquility for each other. They were incredibly fortunate to have enjoyed three homes together and travel frequently around most of the country, with the southwest being her favorite. The couple relocated to Texas for seven years, which were full of adventures and forging new long-lasting friendships.  Cathy possessed a profound connection to American Indian heritage and had a genuine appreciation for the natural beauty and cultural essence that resonated deeply within her spiritual life. Her bond with nature and wildlife was truly unique, understood by only a select few. Her passion for learning about and exploring the Southwest was evident in her keen eye for the crafts and jewelry she so lovingly collected. She cherished collecting jewelry, particularly Native American pieces. Her talent for crafting exquisite floral arrangements was a testament to her creativity, mirroring the beauty of the natural world and the warmth of her generous heart. Cathy's ability to emulate nature's elegance through her floral designs was remarkable. Her Indian spiritual name, Dances with Angels, fittingly captured her harmonious and graceful spirit.

Cathy was selfless, always prioritizing others' needs over her own in sickness and in health. She had the biggest heart and never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was truly the quintessential example of humanity and kindness and as close to altruistic as any angel on earth or heaven.

There will be no services at this time.
