Carol Ann Morrissey, 59, of Salem, NH, passed away on November 4, 2023.

She was a beloved mother and wife, incredible cook, and passionate sports fan. Carol was born in Lexington, KY, to William and Patricia Svehla.

The youngest of four and the only daughter, her natural athleticism was only enhanced by playing sports with her older brothers. Growing up in North Reading, MA, she was a cheerleader and star softball player.

She married her husband, Philip, in 1986 and moved to Salem, NH. Her two children, Brenna and Rachel, were what she was most proud of. She was always found in an ice rink, a volleyball court, or at a softball field supporting and cheering them on. She was known for her wit, cheerfulness, and small stature, but mighty spirit. She loved watching her Boston sports teams, attending food festivals, and listening to Sting and John Mellencamp.

Carol was a fighter and even in the hardest of times, always kept a smile on her face. She is terribly missed and so loved.

Carol was predeceased by her mother, Patricia, father, William, and brothers, Richard and Robert. She is survived by her husband, Philip, her daughters Brenna and Rachel, her daughter-in-law Amanda and soon-to-be daughter-in-law Kristen, her grandson, Bennett, and her brother, Michael.

Calling hours will be held at Carrier Family Funeral Home at 38 Range Road in Windham, NH on Saturday, November 11, from 11am-2pm. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 2pm at the funeral home.
