Beverly J. Malone

Aug 22, 1950 — Oct 26, 2026

Fairfax, VT

Beverly J. Malone, 76, of Fairfax, VT, passed away on Monday, October 26, 2026, at her home. Beverly was born on August 22, 1950, to the late Louis D. Malone and Alice Shirley Bursaw Malone, in Boston, MA.

Beverly above all loved her family, both immediate and extended. While her favorite subjects may have been her only child, daughter-in-law and grand dogs, she never tired of telling people about her many nieces and nephews, sisters and brothers, friends and co-workers, along with their loved ones. Once you were part of Bev’s family, it was forever.

Beverly is a graduate of Cathedral High School, Boston, MA. Although work did not define her life in any way, Bev was always proud of her many professions over the years. Starting at the Canadian Consulate in Boston, Massachusetts, through Levi Strauss and Nautilus in Plano, Texas, Canteen Corp. and Tire Rack in South Bend, Indiana, and Drive A Senior based in Central Texas. No matter where she was, Bev (or "Maggie" at Tire Rack) excelled at bookkeeping, office management, and customer service. Later in her career at Tire Rack, she fought battles for customers against one of her greatest foes- UPS. Many customers across the United States benefited from "Maggie" Malone’s tireless (pun intended) efforts to hold United Parcel Service accountable for their misdeeds.

Her last - and favorite – job was working for the non-profit organization Drive A Senior. Bev coordinated rides to get senior citizens to doctor’s appointments and the like, many times after hours on her personal time.

Beverly is survived by her son: Edward L. Hansen and spouse Meri Campbell, of Geneva, NY and her three beloved grand dogs Zoey, Vienna, and Caray; siblings Patricia Keough and deceased husband, James (Jimmy) of Avon, MA, Thomas Malone and wife Jeneen of Clinton, CT, Donna MacNeill and husband David of Old Saybrook, CT, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and even a great, great nephew.

In addition to her parents, Beverly is predeceased by her siblings Donald Malone, Shirley Richard, Ronald Malone, Judith Souza, and William Malone.
