Barbara Jean Sprague, 67, of Salem, NH passed away on Tuesday morning, December 27 ^th , 2022 at the Jack Byrne Center in Lebanon, NH.

She was born in Syracuse, NY on April 20, 1955, to Jean Cook and Kenneth Cook. Barbara was raised in Reading, MA and attended local schools. Following in her parent's footsteps, she spent many years working for the First Church of Christ, Scientist in Boston. She married Robert "Bob" Sprague and the couple moved to Salem, NH in 1984.

In her spare time, Barbara enjoyed knitting, singing in the choir, playing piano, attending flower shows, & word games. Barbara was an active member of the church community in Derry, NH and loved to donate and help those in need.

She is survived by her sons, Charles "Chuck" Sprague of Salem, NH and Robert W. Sprague Jr and his wife Jennifer of VT; her grandson, Robert "Robbie" Sprague III; her mother, Jean Cook; her brother, David Cook; and her sister, Cheryl Figliolini.

Barbara was predeceased by her loving husband, Robert "Bob" Sprague and her father, Kenneth Cook.

Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 7 ^th from 9-11am at the Carrier Family Funeral Home, 38 Range Road, Windham, NH 03087. A Funeral Service will immediately follow at 11am at the funeral home.
